MTV

I'm not big on TV at all. In fact if my TV gets turned on once in a week, its more than average. But when I do turn the TV on it's usually for sports, now that baseball is back, I'm sure it will be on a lot more. But the other day I was amazingly bored so I decided to see what was on. The answer...nothing, so I got caught watching some stupid show on MTV. I don't even remember what it was. What I realized is this:

Every show on MTV in about nothing, absolute nothing. Ok maybe true life might be somewhat educational and have some merit behind it, but everything else...about absolutely nothing. I dare you to name a show on MTV that differs.

You see all these commercials about parents not wanting things on their TV, you know the one where they get the mob guys in the house, and the mom says they have to go. Lets be honest, thats more real life than the shit on MTV. If anything should be taken off the TV to protect kids, its MTV. It does nothing but fill peoples minds with a false world and false hopes.

And don't be stubborn, you all damn well know that MTV is scripted, and if you don't I'm sure somehow indirectly you know someone who has been on a show there and they can vouch for this.

Go back to showing music video's, at least live up to your name. Or is it no longer Music Television. No, its not, its now Made-up Television.
