Im so pissed

I ordered a new K&N air filter for my truck from this online company, autopartswarehouse.com. I get the part today and its the wrong model, so I look up what its for, and it turns out its for new model Ford's and Lincolns. Since I have an older model GMC, this obviously will not work on my truck.

I call the company and tell them whats going on, I get placed on hold for 10 minutes until finally the girl comes back and says "sir, the model you ordered is for a GMC so I don't see what the problem is." Again I tell her what happened and then she asks for my vin number. WTF does my vin number have to do with an air filter?!?!

I ask to speak with the manager to which she says and i quote "But sir, hes with another customer right now, I can help you." I say no thanks I'll wait. 20 minutes later the damn "acting manager" gets on the phone and doesn't understand the problem. Once again I explain, the packing list is right, my order I placed is right, the package that was sent to me was wrong...finally he gets it.

So when it comes time to send this back he asks if I wanted to purchase the right item. I tell him I've already purchased it and I want the correct item sent to me. Seems easy right...no, I have to send this back, wait 4-6 weeks for the claim to go through and THEN they will send me my damn air filter unless I want to front the $56.00 for a new filter, then get reimbursed for the return 4-6 weeks from now.

I told them to go to hell and if I don't get refunded within 1 week of me sending the wrong item back I would sue them and report them to the better business bureau. Thats when the guy offered me a free $100 coupon to use on my next purchase.

What a joke. 56minutes and 13seconds down the drain, all because of their mistake.
